Easter Egg Hunt - 2020

The Lockridge Forest Civic Association and the Lockridge Forest Swim and Tennis Club are again inviting the community to the free Annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year's event will be held on Saturday, April 11th , from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Swim and Tennis pavilion, and there may be a visit from the Easter bunny!

The kids will begin the hunt in staggered start times by age groups: 3 and under, 4-6, 7-8 years old and 9-10 years old. There will be “one golden egg” hidden that has a prize for each age group. The event usually begins promptly so please arrive at least 15 minutes early so your child doesn’t miss the fun.

For each participating child under 10 years of age, we ask that parents provide 18-24 plastic eggs filled with treats that will not melt: no chocolate, please. The filled eggs should be delivered to the designated box at Kellie Meehan’s home at 6689 Lockridge Drive (corner of Lockridge & Sumac) no later than Friday, April 19th. Please write the name and ages of your children on a piece of paper and put it in the bag with the eggs that you drop off to Kellie. Please write the name and ages of your children on a piece of paper and put it in the bag with the eggs that you drop off. The always popular Cake Walk will also be held, for which we will need donations of cakes, cupcakes, brownies, etc. Please let Kellie know if you will volunteer to bake / bring goodies. Invite your neighbors, make sure your kids bring their baskets for gathering eggs, and come join us! If you can, please take an hour of your time and arrive an hour before noon to help us hide eggs and decorate the pavilion (no kids please, we don't want them to see where the eggs are being hidden). Please contact Kellie at 678-758-4913 or kelliemeehan@yahoo.com to get plugged in and let her know what you will be providing to make this a fun event for the kids of Lockridge. Cakes, cupcakes and such goodies should be brought to the Easter Egg Hunt and not delivered to Kellie. Only the candy filled Easter eggs should be dropped off to her home. Come watch a lot of kids have a lot of fun! If any questions, please use the Contact Us link a the bottom of the page.
