• Saturday April 29th - Toga Party - Held at The Taj from 6 PM to 11 PM. Please bring a snack or appetizer to share and BYOB. Toga costumes are encouraged but not mandatory (Check YouTube for DIY or Amazon for those less creatively inclined). There will be lots of laughs, music, dancing, and Fireball (Thanks Rick Davis) Come join your friends and fellow club members for what promises to be one of the best parties of the Spring!
• Saturday, May 6th - Kentucky Derby - Held at The Taj from 4 PM to 8 PM and open to LFST members only.  ​HD TV screens will be available for viewing the race. Come early and pick your horses at the speculation window.  Event Themed Specialty Drinks available for a nominal fee.
• TBD - Outer Banks Fish Fry. This event is open only LFST members only.
• May 20 - LFST Members Join us at the pool as we begin a new swim season with a refurbished and beautiful pool. ​
• ​Monday, May 29th Memorial Day - The annual "Hugye / Feinstein Memorial" Tennis Tournament. This is a round-robin format and is open to all members and all skill levels – even if you’ve never picked up a racquet! If you don’t have a tennis racquet one will be provided. This is NOT serious tennis but a fun social gathering. A cookout with free hotdog and hamburger plates will be provided to all members. We ask that you being a dish to share and donations are being accepted to offset costs   
• C & W Tasting (TBD). This is a Members Only Premier Club Event. Held at the Taj and another fun social event that always brings out a good gathering.
• July 4th Celebration - celebrate on Monday evening July 3rd. Open to all Club members, Lockridge residents, and friends. A day of pool fun and food with BBQ food plates served in the afternoon. 
• Saturday date TBD - Breakfast at Wimbledon. Hosted by Joyce Hanson & Liz Ramey.  Event Themed Specialty Drinks for $5; and bring a dish to share. More details to follow. 
• Annual Pub Crawl - TBD  6:00pm- Downtown Norcross) An adult function- social gathering in downtown Norcross. Arrangements are made for our crowd with local restaurants and pubs for our decent on their establishment.
• TBD - Mixed Double Tennis Tournament & Low Country Boil. A member/guest or member/member tennis competition and "low country boil' club fund raiser.        
• Monday, September 4th. Labor Day Tennis Tournament.  Always a great social with everyone bringing a dish to share. Any member who wants to play non-competitive but fun tennis regardless of skill level  is welcome to join in.   
• TBD  - Chili Cook-Off - Tennis Pavilion 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM PM at the Tennis Pavilion.  Members Only Event. 
• Free Pancake Breakfast - TBD . Members Only. (regular, blueberry, strawberry, and chocolate chip pancakes w bacon and sausage – Maple and Karo pancake syrups. Coffee and orange juice provided.  Event Themed Specialty Drinks available for a nominal fee. You may also bring your own food to cook.
• Fall date TBD: LFST Annual Pig Roast -  Open to all Club members, Lockridge residents, and friends. See event tab above for details. Event delayed until Summer / Fall 2023
• Tuesday, October 31st. Halloween Parade. Begins at 6:00 PM. Parade in your costume from top of Sumac/Lockridge drive to the tennis pavilion, win a prize in the costume contest and enjoy a quick dinner before neighborhood trick or treating. Open to All. ​

In addition to the planned events above, the Pavilion and Taj are available for reservation by members for birthday parties and private events throughout the year.



2023 swim season: Early weekend on 5/20 & 5/21 and then open for the season May 25 - September 10.
Guarded pool hours are 12:00 Noon - 8:00 PM daily, weekend & holidays. Note: No Guards on weekdays once school year begins so Swim at Your Own Risk rules apply.

Swim & Tennis Amenities:

Provide the needed information:
Who is making the request and how many adults and children will attend the event

• What is the event (birthday party, family gathering, etc. )
• Where – the Taj building or the Pavilion
• When – Date, along start and end time of the event

Note: Taj building and Tennis Deck are restricted to Members Only reservation and use.

Rental Fees:
Swim & Tennis Member:

• $50 deposit. Refundable after clean-up is verified

Civic Association Member:

• $100 fee. $50 refundable after clean-up is verified

Non-Members: (must be Lockridge Forest Resident)

• $150 fee. $50 refundable after clean-up is verified

Reservation requests should be sent via "Contact Us" tab above. Please specify the facility requested, day / time you would like to reserve, the reason for request (birthday party, family social, etc) and total number of attendees.

OUTDOOR FIREPLACE:

1. The Outdoor Fireplace (aka burn pit) it is open for all Swim & Tennis Club Members to use on an ad-hoc non-reservation basis. On special occasions as authorized by the current Board of Directors, the fireplace may be closed for general use. 
2. Never leave a fire unattended. An adult,18 years of age or older must be monitoring the fire at all times.
3. Prior to lighting the fire, users are responsible to make sure the water is turned on and a hose is connected and extended to the fireplace.
4. Untreated wood, lumber, log branches, and manufactured fire logs are the only substances allowed to be burned and must fit inside the fireplace pit to be burned.
5. No burning of solid waste, household garbage, petroleum-based products, or any materials that emit a heavy dark or acrid smoke, pressure treated, painted, or varnished wood, yard trash, vegetation trimmings, leaves, or wood containing nails is to be burned in the pit.
6. No burning permitted during any Gwinnett County Fire Band or No Burn days posted on the Gwinnett County web site. You can verify via GwinnettCountyFireMarshall.com or call the automated Outdoor Burning information line at 678-518-4979 for NO Burn Day status. Compliant bonfires, cooking fires, and recreational fires in chimneys and outdoor fireplaces may be burned weekdays including Sunday and after dark provided all other criteria and restrictions are applied. https://www.gwinnettcounty.com/static/departments/fire_emergency/pdf/outdoor_open_burning_brochure.pdf.
7. No burning permitted during windy conditions (wind gusts in excess of 15 mph).
8. The fire MUST be doused with water, stirred, and doused again to make sure it is completely out before leaving – NEVER leave any hot embers in the fireplace pit unattended.
9. Any trash that may be on the grounds around the fireplace are to be picked up and discarded into the proper receptacle for disposal. Do not discard cups, paper plates, soda cans, plastic bottles of any kind, or items other than those specified in #4 above in the fireplace.
